QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- MCSE or equivalent diploma / degree
- MCP (Advantage)
- A+ and N+
- Valid Driver’s License and Own Reliable Transport (Compulsory)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- 3 - 5 Years’ experience in the IT industry both Desktop & Server Support
- Experience in providing IT Support to 300 – 600 users
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components
- Desktop Hardware, Software (Microsoft Products) and Windows operating systems. Peripheral installations and fault diagnosis
- Windows 7, Windows 8, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016 & Server 2019
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
- Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
- Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware.
- Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
- Managing technical documentation.
- Assisting with upgrades, office relocations, seating arrangements and department moves
- Assisting with deliveries and obtaining Office Supplies.
- Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel
- Setting up New PC’s and Profiles
- Complete special projects, and miscellaneous duties as prescribed by Management
- Available to work after-hours if required.
